Bike-share program launches in Nashville
Tired of parking meters and garage fees on business trips throughout the day? Metro government has launched a bike share program that Nashville residents can use for day trips. Davidson County adults will have free use of 30 cruiser-style bikes — with the program slated to expand next year to 100 bikes. For now, they are available at Shelby Bottoms Nature Center in East Nashville and at the Music City Star Riverfront Station downtown. The expanded program will put bikes in 10 locations. The move is part of an effort to reduce Tennessee's outsized obesity rate. feeds.bizjournals.com |
